Step 1: Turn your digital camera on and pay attention to the buttons located on the camera. Look for the menu, the mode, and the delete button. Also play around with the arrow button to know how it functions. The arrow button in some of the digital cameras help you skim through pictures and some display additional menus on the screen.

Step 2: To understand how the delete button works, select a photo that you can do without. Once you have that on your screen, you can press the delete button. A message will come up on the screen to confirm if you really want to delete the photo.
